Job summary

DV Trading seeks a senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate the infrastructure powering its trading systems. You will manage Kubernetes at scale, a firm-wide observability stack, and CI/CD workflows with GitOps practices.

Ownership from day one means shaping platform reliability and performance across on-prem environments. You will work with trading desks and development teams, using Go or Python for automation, and IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
• Experience with Cluster API, bare metal provisioning, or multi-cluster management is a strong plus.
• Production observability with Prometheus, Grafana; OpenTelemetry knowledge.
• GitOps with ArgoCD, Flux; CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
• IaC with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Go or Python for automation; YAML/Helm familiarity.
• Strong communication with trading desks and dev teams.

Responsibilities

• Kubernetes platform operations and evolution across clusters, upgrades, provisioning, networking, storage, autoscaling, and DR planning.
• Observe and scale on-prem observability stack: Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Grafana, OpenTelemetry collection and dashboards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, GitLab CI, and related tools.
• Create automation for provisioning, configuration management, and self-service tooling for rapid platform adoption.
• Collaborate with trading desks and development teams to onboard them and document runbooks and support models.
