Job summary

DV Trading LLC is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the on‑prem platform powering trading systems. You will manage Kubernetes at scale, observability, and CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast, reliable deployments across the firm.

You’ll work closely with trading desks to onboard them to the platform, write runbooks, and help scale the infrastructure as the team grows. A strong emphasis on reliability and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Kubernetes: production-grade operations, cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, RBAC.
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana; familiarity with Mimir/Loki/Tempo/OpenTelemetry.
• GitOps and CI/CD: ArgoCD, Flux; pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Linux fundamentals: systemd, networking, storage, performance.
• Programming: Go or Python for automation; YAML/Helm.

Responsibilities

• Kubernetes platform operations and evolution, cluster lifecycle and autoscaling.
• Operate on-prem observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and self-service tooling.
• Collaborate with trading desks and development teams; write runbooks and docs.
