Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior DevSecOps Lead to define and drive automation, security, and performance across our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. You will guide agile teams, implement scalable deployment and monitoring solutions, and collaborate with development and security stakeholders to ensure robust software delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive DevSecOps tool experience (Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform, Git), plus a deep understanding of AWS security and container

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of software development experience; 12+ years may substitute.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance at time of application.
• Willing to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Extensive experience with DevSecOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform, Git).
• Experience leading teams and working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with API/Container Security and AWS architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and evolution of processes and infrastructure to enable rapid capability maturation.
• Drive integration of development pipelines with automation, TDD, and CI/CD frameworks.
• Define build, deployment, provisioning, and monitoring standards for the program.
• Ensure SCM, code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for CI/CD.
• Lead Agile development to automate deployment, monitoring, and infra management.
• Oversee delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools in an Agile setup.
• Create scripts/templates to automate provisioning and management tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate CI/CD systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT staff for problem resolution.
• Lead monitoring and support for all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Develop custom scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Design information and operational support systems.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain OS, apps, and system tools.
• Oversee security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Evaluate application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
