Job summary

CyberCoders in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure and scale our AI/healthcare platform. This hands-on role collaborates with software, data, and ML teams to improve reliability and deployment speed while strengthening security.

You will manage AWS architecture, IaC, containers, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and cost optimization, with at least 3 days onsite weekly.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong AWS production cloud architecture ownership.
• Hands-on IaC experience.
• Containers and production orchestration experience.
• Experience scaling production systems.
• Metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting expertise.
• Designing highly available, reliable production systems.
• Security: IAM, networking, encryption, and secrets management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Onsite Jersey City, NJ at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

Senior DevOps Engineer | AI/Healthcare | $180K-$240K

Jersey City, NJ | Hybrid | Full-Time

We're working with a fast-growing technology company in the AI and healthcare space that's looking to add a Senior DevOps Engineer to its growing engineering team.

This is a highly hands-on role with ownership across cloud infrastructure, deployment, observability, security, and scalability. You'll help build and evolve the infrastructure supporting production applications, data pipelines, and machine learning systems as the platform continues to scale.

You'll work closely with software, data, and ML engineers to improve reliability, accelerate deployments, strengthen infrastructure security, and ensure the platform can support significant continued growth.

What You'll Do

What You Need

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform, or Systems Engineering


• Strong experience owning production cloud architecture in AWS


• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code


• Strong experience with containers and production orchestration


• Experience scaling a production system through significant growth


• Strong experience implementing metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting


• Experience designing highly available and reliable production systems


• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, encryption, and secrets management


• Track record of driving infrastructure improvements and engineering best practices


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field


• Ability to work onsite in Jersey City, NJ at least 3 days per week

Nice to Have

• Experience working in healthcare or another regulated environment


• Experience with HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks


• Experience supporting high-volume data, telemetry, or IoT infrastructure


• Experience supporting AI/ML systems and data platforms


• Startup or high-growth technology company experience

Compensation & Benefits

$180,000-$240,000 base salary + equity
