Job summary

Nuuly is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP, manage Kubernetes deployments, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

You will work with Kafka and related tooling to support our event-driven architecture, monitor systems, and ensure security. A strong focus on reliability and performance is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with streaming data and distributed systems using asynchronous brokers like Kafka.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage).
• Collaborate with software teams to establish efficient CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain health and security of cloud infra.
• Optimize Kafka event-driven architecture and broker performance.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve overall system performance.
• Ensure cloud security best practices and stay updated on threats.
