Job summary

Knightscope, a security technology company, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the build, deployment, and release infrastructure for its autonomous security robot fleet. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, OTA deployment systems, and cloud/Kubernetes platforms that run ML workloads across the US.

You will collaborate with a small expert team, mentor engineers, and drive reliability, observability, and scalable infrastructure across diverse hardware targets at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with production ownership.
• Experience building and running CI/CD at scale.
• Strong Linux networking, storage, performance, and security.
• Hands-on with AWS and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience supporting C++ and Python development on Linux; scripting

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and continuously improve end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for a production robotics platform.
• Own the OTA update pipeline: multi-image builds, staged rollout, rollback across targets.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes deployments supporting ML pipelines.
• Triage CI failures and drive resolution with clear ownership.
• Improve observability through automation, metrics, logging, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain internal tooling; mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisions.
