Job summary

Molg is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, tooling, and deployment systems powering its robotic microfactories and software platforms. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerize workloads for on‑premise and factory‑floor deployments, and integrate HIL/SIL testing to validate robotics systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with production ownership.
• Proficient in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Strong Docker/Docker Compose experience across on‑premise environments.
• IaC experience with Ansible or Terraform managing on‑premise servers.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash.
• Experience administering Linux production systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
• Excellent documentation and communication.
• Willingness to work in-person at Molg HQ in Sterling, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployments.
• Containerize workloads and ensure consistent environments across sites.
• Develop automated build, test, and release pipelines with HIL/SIL.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability for deployed systems.
• Define quality gates in CI/CD to catch regressions before production.
• Improve developer tooling and local dev environments.
• Drive security practices including secrets management and network security.
• Administer and maintain local networking across factory floor.
• Respond to incidents and conduct post-mortems.
• Automate manual tasks to reduce repeat work.
