Job summary

7Seventy Recruiting seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end infrastructure for a growing fintech platform. You will drive fast, safe software delivery with robust pipelines, reproducible IaC, and cost-aware cloud management.

You will work with AWS, CI/CD, Observability, SLOs, and incident response, supporting regulated environments and SOC 2/audit requirements while coordinating with security and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Experience as an early or solo infrastructure hire is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the build, test, and deployment pipeline for fast, safe software delivery with progressive rollouts and rapid rollbacks.
• Build reproducible infrastructure environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Define and meet uptime targets for financial institution customers.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response to pre-empt production issues.
• Mature on-call into a structured, repeatable process.
• Implement change management, access controls, and audit logging for compliance.
• Support SOC 2 compliance and bank due-diligence requirements with security partners.
• Own infrastructure cost management and cloud efficiency as the platform grows.
