Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across Azure and AWS. You will enable continuous integration, automated testing, and reliable deployments, partnering with product teams to embed DevOps practices within agile workflows.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering excellence, infrastructure as code, and observability, with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability across environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Release Engineering, or related roles with hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong background in software development with Python, .NET, or Java.
• Proven cloud experience on Azure and AWS; scripting in PowerShell or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and automate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines with reusable modules and templates.
• Build modern compute platforms (containerized/serverless with AKS, EKS, Docker, Azure Functions) for scalability and performance.
• Provide senior technical mentorship through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Apply SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident response) to improve reliability and reduce toil.
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
