Job summary

Confluence is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a major platform transformation. You will design and scale CI/CD pipelines, deliver infrastructure as code, and enable teams to deploy and operate systems reliably in a cloud-first Azure environment.

You will focus on automation, infrastructure, and deployment processes, collaborating with engineering teams while shaping standards and tooling for a growing, global investment data platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform essential).
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also considered).
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Scripting or coding experience (Python, PowerShell or similar).
• Understanding of security, compliance, and deployment practices.
• Comfortable working across infrastructure and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale DevOps foundations, not just maintain them.
• Design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
• Deliver infrastructure as code and automate deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on large-scale systems.
