Job summary

WoltersKluwer N.V. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across Azure and AWS.

You’ll lead hands-on efforts, mentor peers, and promote best practices in a fast-paced, agile environment. Expect to work on containerized/serverless architectures (AKS, EKS, Docker, Azure Functions) and champion observability, security, and reliability while partnering with product teams to enable continuous delivery and cloud-native

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, Release or related roles with hands-on software engineering.
• Strong coding background in Python, .NET, or Java.
• Proven cloud experience in Azure and AWS.
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience building/operating CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and automate secure, scalable cloud infra in Azure and AWS using IaC.
• Implement and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines with reusable modules.
• Design modern compute platforms (containerized/serverless: AKS, EKS, Docker, Azure Functions).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines as software products with strong test coverage.
• Support cloud-native architectures with abstraction, decoupling, and observability.
• Implement observability via metrics, logging, traces for proactive troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise DevOps, security, and governance standards.
• Mentor senior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Evaluate emerging tools and technologies for value and integration feasibility.
• Apply SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident response) to reliability.
• Deploy, operate, and support business-critical apps with high availability.
• Participate in modernization and cloud-native transformation of legacy platforms.
• Identify and remediate engineering inefficiencies via automation.
