Job summary

Sotalent, a leading food solutions manufacturer in Irvine, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive reliability and security of cloud infrastructure in a hybrid role. You will manage JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments, scale AWS infrastructure with Terraform/Ansible, and lead DevSecOps initiatives across SaaS and custom apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of DevOps and Cloud engineering experience.
• Strong AWS services expertise (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Proficient in Kubernetes production environments.
• Scripting proficiency: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
• Solid security automation and vulnerability remediation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Build and scale AWS infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes EKS.
• Implement DevSecOps with automated scanning tools like Snyk or Trivy.
• Oversee environment setups across Development, QA, and Production.
• Collaborate with dev teams to manage deployments for SaaS and custom apps.
• Monitor system health with New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Lead DevOps and DataOps within an Agile framework using Jira and ServiceNow.
