project44 is hiring a Senior Devops Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design, build, and implement best-in-class integrations to accelerate how project44 connects to the world’s logistics networks.

Join a fast-paced Agile environment, lead infrastructure across AWS/GCP, and drive cost-optimization while maintaining reliability. This on-site role supports a 3-days-a-week office presence at our Chicago HQ.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE or Infra roles with leadership experience.
• Cloud expertise with AWS preferred; GCP/Azure also relevant.
• Strong IaC skills: Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.

Responsibilities

• Set cloud infra direction across AWS/GCP; manage Kubernetes-based orchestration.
• Build and maintain highly available, real-time data platform infrastructure.
• Lead CI/CD improvements to boost deployment velocity and reliability.
• Own infrastructure-as-code standards and promote GitOps practices.
• Champion observability, SLOs/SLIs, incident response and postmortems.
