Mark43 is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the cloud infrastructure powering our public safety platform. You will focus on reliability, automation, observability, and enabling engineering teams to deliver software efficiently.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure a scalable, secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud environment using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong hands-on AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps and ArgoCD deployment processes.
• Scripting or programming to automate infrastructure operations and tooling.
• Understanding of reliability, security, and compliance best practices.

Responsabilités

• Manage and optimize AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Build internal tooling to increase developer productivity and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce DevOps best practices and robust deployment workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
• Drive infrastructure projects that enhance scalability and health of the platform.
• Contribute to the advancement of public safety software across agencies.
