Job summary

Modern Ballistic is seeking an experienced DevOps professional in the United States to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. You will provision cloud infrastructure with Terraform on AWS or Azure, containerize apps with Docker, and deploy on Kubernetes.

You will implement IaC, automate tasks, and monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or ELK. Responsibilities include managing Git workflows, release processes, and applying security best

Qualifications

• 26 years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud experience.
• AWS or Azure (EC2/VMs, VPC/VNet, S3/Blob, IAM).
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps; Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure using Terraform (IaC)
• Containerise applications with Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes (EKS / AKS)
• Automate routine tasks with Python, Bash or PowerShell scripts
• Monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or ELK, and resolve production issues
• Manage Git repositories, branching strategies and release processes
• Apply security best practices: IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning
• Work with development and QA teams on smooth, reliable releases
