Job summary

Technologent in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support modern application delivery and cloud-native deployment environments. This role focuses on automated delivery pipelines, container platforms, deployment processes, infrastructure tooling, and secure configuration management.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Linux, HashiCorp Vault, and Apache Web Server, along with solid experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong practical experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying and supporting cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets and credential management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• Practical experience configuring and supporting Apache Web Server.
• Strong understanding of Git and GitHub, application build processes, release management, and deployment approaches.
• Experience supporting application deployments across multiple environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and application delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application compilation, testing, packaging, and deployment.
• Build and manage deployment workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Automate application releases and deployments across Kubernetes environments.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Docker container images and container-based deployment processes.
• Support cloud-native applications and containerized workloads throughout their development and release lifecycle.
• Integrate HashiCorp Vault into application delivery processes for secure storage and management of secrets, credentials, and sensitive configuration.
• Manage application delivery across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux environments supporting applications and deployment platforms.
• Configure and support Apache Web Server environments and related application hosting requirements.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes workloads, Docker containers, and application deployments.
• Implement security controls, automated quality validations, and appropriate approval mechanisms within delivery pipelines.
• Maintain technical documentation related to deployment processes, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures.
• Improve deployment automation, reliability, consistency, and overall application delivery processes.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to identify technical issues and improve software delivery practices.
• Support release activities and ensure applications are deployed consistently across required environments.
• Apply DevOps engineering practices to improve the reliability and maintainability of application deployment environments.
