Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant in Engineering Foundry, AI & E/EaaS - DevOps to design, implement, and optimize cloud, automation, and platform engineering across complex environments. You will collaborate with client and Deloitte teams to strengthen software delivery and reliability, guiding DevOps transformations with best practices and tooling.

This role requires 6+ years in DevOps/Platform/SE, strong cloud experience, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience with DevOps engineering, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience using infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM).
• 4+ years of experience with container platforms and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to travel 50% on average based on client work.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and supporting DevOps pipelines, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD practices across client environments.
• Collaborating with client and Deloitte teams to assess current-state engineering processes and define target-state DevOps operating models, tooling, and workflows.
• Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, platform services, and deployment automation using infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
• Monitoring application and platform performance, identifying issues, and implementing improvements to reliability, scalability, security, and release quality.
• Contributing to project deliverables, technical documentation, environment standards, and implementation plans while supporting client-facing discussions and delivery milestones.
