Job summary

Intramotev, based in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own CI/CD pipelines, infra, security, and a customer portal for our self-propelled battery-electric railcars. You will lead security controls for NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS, and guide a 3–10 person engineering team in a fast-moving environment.

This is a full-time, in-office role with domestic travel for testing and demonstrations. Strong Linux, GitHub Actions, and cloud experience are required, along with a track record of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in DevOps, software engineering, build/release engineering, or systems administration.
• Experience making CI/CD or infrastructure decisions autonomously.
• Hands-on GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD at scale.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong Linux admin and shell scripting skills.
• Experience securing infrastructure and pipelines (IAM, secrets mgmt, vulnerability mgmt).
• Startup or small-team background owning CI/CD and infra end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline architecture and scalability.
• Own internal server and cloud infrastructure strategy for availability and performance.
• Secure infrastructure, pipelines, and hosted services; manage IAM and secrets.
• Implement and maintain NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS compliance evidence.
• Build, deploy, and operate a customer portal (auth, access control, content delivery).
• Set standards for tooling and Infrastructure-as-Code; drive test automation in pipelines.
• Lead diagnosis and resolution of deployment/infrastructure issues for fielded systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and document operational/security practices.
