Mindlance in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a 6-month onsite engagement. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java applications, automate infrastructure with IaC, and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

You will also optimize cloud resources, enforce DevSecOps practices, mentor junior engineers, and lead automation initiatives to reduce toil and improve reliability. Strong scripting and observability experience are required.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE or related roles.
• Strong Java development background with JVM ecosystem knowledge.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred).
• IaC expertise with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Groovy.
• Experience with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk).
• Understanding of networking, security, and sysadmin basics.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java-based apps.

• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and implement observability solutions.

• Lead incident response and conduct post-mortems to improve reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture and practices.
• Drive automation to reduce manual toil and improve efficiency.
