Job summary

RiVidium Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to bridge development and operations, focusing on CI/CD, IaC, and automation across on-premises and cloud environments. You will work with developers, testers, and operations staff to enhance performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate has extensive DoD DevOps experience, a deep understanding of Linux and cloud platforms, and a TS/SCI clearance. This role involves mentoring junior engineers and advancing CI/CD maturity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Lead.
• 5+ years of experience in a DoD DevOps environment.
• Strong proficiency with Helm, Terraform, or equivalent scripting/automation tools.
• Demonstrated experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, cloud platforms, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required at contract start.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
• Automate workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve system scalability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
• Ensure high availability, security, and compliance of deployed systems.
• Optimize software delivery processes and improve overall operational maturity.
• Lead DevOps best practices and mentor junior team members where applicable.
