Job summary

Rapid Strategy, an award-winning cybersecurity firm based in Charlotte, NC, seeks a DevOps Engineer-III to lead infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and system optimization. This senior role mentors junior engineers and designs scalable, secure DevOps solutions across cloud platforms.

The candidate will enforce security best practices and drive automation using Kubernetes/Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools. TS/SCI is required; work may be performed in Reston or nearby US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with security tools and vulnerability scanning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and automated workflows.
• Optimize cloud resources and maintain Kubernetes/Docker container orchestration.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for DevOps workflows.
• Lead root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews for incidents.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams.
