Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage the software delivery lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure automation. You will ensure reliability, scalability, and security across enterprise platforms, partnering with engineering, security, and operations teams.

In this role, you will build pipelines, manage Terraform-based infrastructure, monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate on security integrations to reduce risk and improve operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE or similar role.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and production systems.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience managing cloud environments.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and security in pipelines.
• Experience with platform upgrades and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Manage cloud infra with IaC tools like Terraform.
• Monitor health, availability, and performance; troubleshoot incidents.
• Upgrade platforms and perform maintenance for stability and security.
• Collaborate with security teams to embed controls in pipelines.
• Support production workloads in Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Automate processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
