Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role based in Peachtree City, GA or Monn Township, PA. The position requires 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, and building robust CI/CD pipelines.

You will design automation, IaC, and developer platforms, support release management and environment automation, and promote DevSecOps best practices to improve security, reliability, and engineering productivity across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform/Build/Release roles.
• 4+ years building CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform).
• 4+ years of containerization and automated build/test environments.
• 4+ years scripting in Bash/Python or similar.
• 3+ years with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for firmware, embedded software, and services.
• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual effort and boost efficiency.
• Build and maintain IaC and development platforms.
• Enhance developer experience with self-service tools and automation.
• Support release management, artifact management, and deployment automation.
• Implement monitoring and observability across systems.
• Ensure cybersecurity, regulatory, and product compliance throughout SDLC.
• Support automated test environments and QA processes.
• Drive adoption of DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
