Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role based in Monn Township, PA or Peachtree City, GA. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines across firmware, embedded software, and backend services, driving automation and IaC adoption to improve reliability and delivery speed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps/Platform Eng, 4+ years with CI/CD pipelines, and strong experience in Terraform, GitHub offerings, and Azure in a security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform/Build/Release engineering or related roles.
• 4+ years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• 4+ years of containerization and automated build/test environments.
• 4+ years scripting with Bash or Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for firmware, embedded software, backend services, and tooling.
• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Build and maintain development platforms and IaC solutions across development, testing, and release operations.
• Enhance developer experience with self-service tools and automation frameworks.
• Support release management, artifact management, and deployment automation.
