Job summary

Crossflow Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer (Level 3) to join our team, splitting time between a Northrop Grumman facility in Colorado Springs and Schriever Space Force Base, CO.

Onsite daily with limited remote/hybrid work. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployment, and managing containerization (Docker/Podman), with strong emphasis on security, testing, and collaboration with development and test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance at start.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD tooling (Docker/Podman, Jenkins, Jira, GitHub/GitLab, SonarQube).
• Hands-on Unix/Linux system administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and management with configuration tools.
• Manage containerization technologies (Docker/Podman) including rootless/rootful setups.
• Collaborate with development and test teams to improve build and deployment processes.
• Integrate automated testing and quality/security tools into pipelines.
• Monitor pipeline performance and drive reliability improvements.
• Enforce security, compliance, and config baselines across environments.
• Work with credential management tools to secure non-interactive access.
