Job summary

AV is seeking a Development Engineer, Principal (DevOps) to design, develop, launch, and support our DevOps pipeline operations. The role drives automation of internal software deployment via CI/CD best practices across multiple software groups and engages with leadership on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include administering GitLab and Subversion, delivering CI/CD pipelines, building Docker images, and guiding teams on DevOps processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or equivalent.
• 12+ years of DevOps ops management experience with GitLab/GitHub and release oversight.
• 5+ years in containerization (Docker/ECS) with Windows and Linux hosts.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Proven delivery success in mid-size to large corporations.
• Strong scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers GitLab and Subversion environments.
• Architects CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery.
• Creates and maintains Docker images and containers.
• Automates manual processes and optimizes build infra.
