Job summary

Jpm & Djm Enterprises Services is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own reliability, scalability, automation, and security of our AWS cloud infrastructure. You will work with Engineering, Product, Data, and Security to maintain highly available environments.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/Bitbucket, observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and strong emphasis on security and incident

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch.
• Advanced experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Strong AWS networking knowledge (VPCs, routing, DNS, security groups).
• Experience implementing cloud security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, AWS Config).
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
• Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and automation skills.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python and Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage production workloads on ECS, EC2, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability tooling (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
• Drive cloud security initiatives, including IAM governance and secrets management.
• Manage AWS networking components (VPCs, Load Balancers, Route 53, SGs).
• Lead incident response, RCA, and performance optimization efforts.
• Automate infrastructure and operations with scripting and configuration management.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and best practices.
