Job summary

Luzon Technologies Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support Freddie Mac on-site in McLean, VA. This role requires a hands-on professional with deep DevOps/SRE expertise, strong Java/VJM fundamentals, and proficient CI/CD and cloud tooling.

Onsite interview and W2 employment are required. Ideal candidates will demonstrate experience with Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, plus scripting and monitoring proficiency (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Strong Java development background with understanding of the JVM ecosystem (Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Groovy).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration
