Job summary

Clarivate Plc seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer for the PISA DevOps team in Alexandria, VA. You will guide cloud and DevOps practices, drive CI/CD and IaC, and support a multi-product environment across teams. Strong automation, security focus, and collaboration are essential for success.

You will work with Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and AI-enhanced workflows to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure and services. This role requires US citizenship or GC with clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or higher in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing systems in large-scale production environments.
• 5+ years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• 5+ years supporting Cloud services (prefer AWS).
• 5+ years deploying and scaling containerized apps with Kubernetes.
• 5+ years IaC with Terraform.
• 5+ years software development/scripting in Python/Bash.
• 5+ years GitHub Copilot / AI workflow experience.
• US Citizen or Green Card with Public Trust or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product deployment roadmap and security posture.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline tooling and automation across projects.
• Support software developers with build requirements and status updates.
• Monitor and improve observability using Datadog, CloudWatch, and metrics.
• Drive security/compliance efforts including ISO-27001 and SOC2 alignment.
• Design AI agentive services and workflow automation using Copilot.
• Provide Infrastructure as Code management with Terraform and GitHub source control.
• Maintain thorough DevOps runbooks and cross-team collaboration.
