Job summary

O.C. Tanner is seeking a DevOps Engineer to advance our CI/CD pipelines and AWS cloud infrastructure. You will build scalable systems, implement Terraform-based IaC, and improve observability across services to support a modernized platform.

You will work with Kubernetes, Docker, Argo, Helm, and GitHub Actions, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related infrastructure engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling and CI/CD pipelines, with strong knowledge of GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a team.
• Observability tools and techniques including logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
• Troubleshoot and debug infrastructure and application issues in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Build and maintain containerized environments with Kubernetes for scalability and resilience.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for reliable deployments.
• Develop automation scripts in Golang, Python, or Java for infra management and monitoring.
• Work with Docker, Argo, Helm and related tools to support infra and deployments.
• Enhance observability by improving logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
