Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer to design, implement, and lead automation across IaC, CI/CD, and cloud provisioning. You will work with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Git/GitLab, and RPA tools in AWS/Azure environments.

You will mentor staff, drive secure deployments, and contribute to monitoring, self-service portals, and automation best practices. The role requires active Secret clearance and 5+ years in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years experience in DevOps, automation, or infrastructure engineering.
• Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using IaC, RPA, and orchestration.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Develop Terraform/CloudFormation templates for cloud resource provisioning.
• Create Ansible/PowerShell automation scripts for configuration management.
• Implement monitoring and alerting automation (AIOps integration).
• Develop self-service portals and automation workflows.
• Train operational staff on automation tools and best practices.
• Document automation processes and maintain code repositories.
