Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an experienced DevOps/Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks. The role leads a team of engineers focused on IaC, RPA, and orchestration across cloud and on-prem environments.

The position requires 5+ years in DevOps/automation, a technical degree, and an active Secret clearance, with expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Python, and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years experience in DevOps, automation, or infrastructure engineering.
• Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using IaC, RPA, and orchestration.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Develop Terraform/CloudFormation templates for cloud resource provisioning.
• Create Ansible/PowerShell automation scripts for configuration management.
• Implement monitoring and alerting automation (AIOps integration).
• Develop self-service portals and automation workflows.
• Train operational staff on automation tools and best practices.
• Document automation processes and maintain code repositories.
