Job summary

Ryan is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and implement a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem, Internal Developer Portal (IDP), and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. This role blends software development with cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering to help teams build, test, and deploy software faster and more reliably.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• 6+ years hands‑on with CI/CD tools (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and modern software delivery practices.
• Deep development experience in Java and/or Node.js applications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure networking, serverless, and managed cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, security scanning, and secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Champion a DevOps culture focused on automation-first mindset, continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal (IDP) for self-service infrastructure, templates, and deployment workflows.
• Design, implement, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js applications.
• Build standardized deployment workflows across AWS and Azure environments.
• Design cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (Terraform) and governance via policy-as-code.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure and applications.
• Lead PoC initiatives for new tools, platforms, and automation processes.
