Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure. You will own lifecycle of multiple projects, upgrade CI/CD pipelines, and integrate AI-driven workflows and autonomous agents into the platform ecosystem.

You will work with minimal supervision, collaborating with senior engineers while leading projects from conception to production, impacting reliability, velocity, and efficiency across the system.

Qualifications

• Deep production experience with GCP and/or AWS—ideally both.
• Infrastructure as Code; Terraform proficiency in modular, reusable configurations.
• CI/CD expertise for enterprise-grade pipelines (GitLab or GitHub preferred).
• Strong Python software engineering fundamentals with AI/tooling experience for automation.
• Kubernetes with helm and containerized microservices.
• Serverless and microservices experience with AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Run, and container tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and redesign of infrastructure to cloud-native standards.
• Build and maintain robust IaC templates across multi-cloud environments.
• Modernize engineering workflows and optimize DevOps maturity.
• Create AI-driven automation and agent workflows for operations.
