Job summary

Black Book, part of Hearst Transportation, is seeking a Mid-to-Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work with software and data teams to automate deployments, improve observability, and support production systems on AWS and Kubernetes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in DevOps, strong scripting skills, and a passion for automation. This role is based in Georgia with on-site responsibilities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Production cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Familiarity with AI engineering tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate highly available AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
• Automate operational tasks with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues across applications, containers, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Improve observability, reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with development and data teams to promote DevOps and shift-left practices.
• Participate in incident response and help eliminate root causes.
• Document solutions, share knowledge, and mentor teammates.
• Support customer-impacting issues when needed.
