Job summary

Subway is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and platform tooling that empower engineering teams to ship software faster, more reliably, and with greater confidence.

This role emphasizes an automation-first mindset, AI-assisted tooling, and strong IaC practices using Terraform; you will enhance observability, enforce standards, and collaborate with Cloud and Security teams to sustain secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in DevOps/platform engineering or SRE.
• 3+ years building and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years writing Terraform modules for cloud/hybrid infra.
• Experience applying AI/automation to improve DevOps workflows.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across teams.
• Automate build, test, packaging, and deployment workflows.
• Integrate AI-assisted tooling for code quality and security scanning.
• Monitor pipeline health and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain IaC modules and documentation; enforce standards.
