Job summary

Exegy is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join the newly formed DevOps team within the Market Data Engineering organization. You will design, build, automate, and scale our developer enablement ecosystem, partnering with engineering and product teams to accelerate software delivery in a security-focused environment.

You will implement AI-enabled automation using LLMs, improve CI/CD pipelines, and help manage software supply chains with Artifactory and AWS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Git, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on Linux administration and Docker-based containerized applications.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory and artifact lifecycles.
• Experience deploying workloads in AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM).
• Knowledge of secure SDLC, vulnerability management, and container security.
• Collaborating with agile software development teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to translate inefficiencies into scalable automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams.
• Implement AI-enabled automation and developer tooling.
• Manage software supply chain security and artifact lifecycles.
• Integrate security scanning into delivery pipelines (SAST/DAST, container scanning, secrets).
• Develop automation scripts using Python.
• Manage Linux/VMS and Docker-based container environments.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM).
• Collaborate with Agile teams and advise on deployment strategies.
