Job summary

AT&T seeks a Senior Member of Technical Staff (OSS Software Developer) to modernize OSS across provisioning, activation, inventory, and analytics, building cloud-native, AI-enabled platforms for automated operations.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable OSS applications, implement APIs and microservices, and collaborate with architects, product owners, network engineers, and QA teams in Middletown, New Jersey, with required office presence five days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSS/BSS platform development and modernization.
• Background in telecom environments (telecom ops).
• Experience with service provisioning, activation, inventory, assurance, diagnostics, or order management.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration and automation platforms.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Familiarity with TM Forum APIs and telecom integration standards.
• Experience with legacy application modernization and cloud transformation.
• Operational analytics, reporting, and data visualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable OSS applications.
• Build cloud-native software solutions and APIs, microservices, UI, and system integrations.
• Develop Generative AI solutions to enhance workflows and productivity.
• Create AI capabilities including autonomous agents and task planners.
• Apply analytics across provisioning, inventory, and network operations data.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, network engineers, and operations partners.
• Participate in architecture reviews, design sessions, and modernization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and data-related issues.
