The role collaborates with SaaS and in-house apps, utilizing GitHub Actions/Jenkins/ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. Monitoring spans New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of professional DevOps and Cloud engineering experience.
• Expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.
• Strong background in Kubernetes production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
• Security automation and vulnerability remediation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Build and scale AWS infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes EKS.
• Implement DevSecOps with automated security scanning tools like Snyk or Trivy.
• Oversee environment setups across Development, QA, and Production.
• Collaborate with development teams to manage deployments for SaaS and custom apps.
• Monitor system health with New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Lead DevOps and DataOps strategies within an Agile framework using Jira and ServiceNow.

Our client, a leading food solutions manufacturer based in Irvine, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in a hybrid capacity. This is a salaried position offering a base pay range of 130,874 to 171,772 dollars depending on experience and location.

In this role, you will be responsible for the reliability and security of cloud infrastructure within AWS. A significant portion of this position involves the management and configuration of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, including CNC activities like environment upgrades, performance tuning, and security setup. You will drive cloud native initiatives focusing on scalability and cost optimization.

Primary Responsibilities
