Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery and deployment automation at scale. You’ll design and own CD pipelines, implement progressive delivery, and drive release orchestration across regions, with strong emphasis on safety, automation, and observability.

You will mentor teams, shape deployment standards, and collaborate with SRE, Security, and Architecture to reduce lead times and production incidents. Hybrid remote in the USA is available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, Release Engineering, Platform or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating CD and deployment automation at scale.
• Proficient with progressive delivery patterns and feature flagging.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and building reusable pipelines.
• Strong programming in Go, Python, Bash.
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS), IaC (Terraform), containers/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Continuous Delivery pipelines and deployment promotion.
• Architect deployment automation and reusable frameworks for multiple apps.
• Design progressive delivery strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling).
• Drive release orchestration across services, environments, regions.
• Lead feature flagging integration with deployment workflows.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with testing, security checks, quality gates.
• Establish deployment guardrails and health checks.
• Enhance deployment observability with metrics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Cloud, SRE, and Infrastructure teams; implement IaC.
