Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a DevOps Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership for DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native platform engineering across multiple agile teams in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

You will drive architectural standards, build reusable reference architectures, and champion DevSecOps practices to improve reliability, security, and developer experience while collaborating with architects, security and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on DevOps/Platform Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing and supporting DevOps architecture at scale.
• Strong Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction for DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering across multiple scrum teams.
• Design automated CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions; embed security in pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Drive Kubernetes-based cloud-native platform adoption and reliability initiatives.
• Lead incident response, observability, monitoring, and production support improvements.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of automation and high-quality engineering.
