Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related experience preferred.
Strong technical leadership for design discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience mentoring and coaching less experienced developers.
Extensive understanding of good object oriented design principles (patterns, cohesion/coupling, S.O.L.I.D.).
Strong experience writing clean, maintainable code with unit testing, TDD, CI/CD, automation, refactoring.

Responsibilities

Analyze software requirements to determine best solution and plan in an agile lifecycle.
Modify codebase to implement complex software modifications with standards.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex errors to identify root cause and resolution.
Assist with testing and documentation of application changes.
Collaborate with team in Scrum ceremonies, pair programming, and code reviews.
Align with Product Owner to understand roadmaps and architectural execution.
Lead or assist in technical research initiatives and architecture discussions.
Mentor team members and provide ongoing technical feedback.
Protect confidential data and ensure security across Ascensus systems.
