Job summary

1X is seeking an experienced Endpoint Systems Engineer to own and scale device management across its rapidly growing robotics organization. This role focuses on secure, automated fleet management that supports engineering productivity and a strong security posture in both development and production environments.

You will design provisioning, patching, and compliance workflows, collaborating with Security, IT, Robotics, and Infrastructure teams, and champion automation, infrastructure-as-code,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Endpoint systems engineering, device management, infrastructure engineering, or related technical domains.
• Hands-on experience administering Endpoint systems in enterprise or production environments.
• Experience with device provisioning, endpoint management, systems automation, and configuration management tooling.
• Strong scripting/programming experience using Python, Bash, or equivalent languages.
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale the device management infrastructure across 1X's rapidly growing robotics organization.
• Build secure, automated, and reliable Endpoint fleet management solutions.
• Design and scale device management systems across engineering, robotics, and operational environments.
• Develop scalable provisioning, patch management, compliance, and monitoring workflows.
