Job summary

Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association is seeking a Senior Development Program Specialist or Development Program Manager to join our development operations team in Madison. You will support donor identification, cultivation, and stewardship across Veterinary Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and UW Athletics in a collaborative environment.

The role requires strong organization, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work in a hybrid on-site setting in Madison, WI at least two days per

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combo of education and work experience.
  • 2+ years for Senior Development Program Specialist or 5+ years for Development Program Manager in higher education, nonprofit or fundraising.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison to campus partners and manage donor communications and inquiries.
  • Coordinate with advancement teams on events, board meetings, and communications.
  • Collaborate with BI and development teams for data-driven donor stewardship.
  • Plan and execute donor visits, travel, and hosting logistics as needed.
  • Assist with gift documentation and CRM data entry; support KPI tracking.
  • Provide project management support and contribute to process improvements.
