Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is seeking an experienced Individual Giving Manager in Madison, Wisconsin. You will lead the development team’s work on annual fund and legacy giving, grow donor pipelines, and oversee stewardship and events to drive donor engagement.

You will report to the Vice President of Philanthropy and collaborate with Communications to craft compelling campaigns. This role offers a hybrid in-office/remote setup with opportunities for advancement as the organization

Qualifications

• Three or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Proven ability to build relationships that lead to fundraising success.
• Strong interpersonal and external representation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong project management with multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products and CRM databases.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individual giving strategies aligned with annual goals.
• Execute annual fundraising appeals via mail, email, and social media.
• Grow the annual fund with matches, recurring giving, and non-cash gifts.
• Expand legacy giving; coordinate with FreeWill.
• Support peer-to-peer fundraising and staff engagement.
• Plan development events and represent Habitat Dane at community events.
• Maintain donor records using Virtuous and task management in Asana.
