Job summary

Ping Identity seeks a Senior Development Manager to lead a cross-functional engineering team delivering the next generation of SaaS products in Identity and Access Management. You will report to a Senior Director of Engineering and guide requirements, development, testing, and delivery.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, oversee design reviews, and coordinate across product, management, and customer services to deliver high-impact products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience directly managing development teams.
• Minimum of 2 years experience leading "Software as a Service" teams and processes.
• Experience hiring and leading outstanding engineers.
• Experience leading Agile teams and planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of 8 developers responsible for SaaS and hybrid multi-tenant products.
• Manage recruitment, training, and building an accomplished and effective software development team.
• Contribute technically to the team: Provide design and code reviews, and contribute to the codebase yourself.
• Lead the forecasting, allocation, and management of capital and people investments.
• Work with product management to determine product requirements and definitions.
• Assist your team in responding quickly in the event of unforeseen production issues. - On-call may be a requirement for this position
