Job summary

Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Development Senior Manager to lead multi-million dollar fundraising initiatives in the Greater Austin area. You will manage partnerships with donors, sponsors and volunteers to expand chapter revenue and engagement.

Based in Austin with remote flexibility, you will oversee the Austin OneParty Gala and Golf Tournament, cultivate new funder relationships, and drive strategies to secure annual gifts and donor retention while collaborating with national program partners.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of fundraising experience in a mission-driven org with revenue responsibilities over $500k.
• Experience in large scale events (walk, gala).
• Experience recruiting, developing, retaining, and stewarding volunteers.
• Proven ability to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and supporters.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally; eveninings and weekends may be required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising & engagement plans to grow chapter revenue and donor base.
• Achieve personal event revenue goals and support overall chapter goals.
• Collaborate with national and chapter partners to grow event portfolios and donor engagement.
• Develop and execute stewardship activities for event supporters.
• Retain, acquire and activate supporters to meet fundraising and participation goals.
• Coordinate with hosts, guests, and sponsors for events and donor cultivation.
