Senior Development Manager

A leading NYC real estate developer is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to oversee luxury residential and mixed-use developments from acquisition through project completion. This is a hands‑on leadership role managing the full development lifecycle, including underwriting, design, permitting, construction, and sales coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple ground‑up residential and mixed‑use developments.
• Lead projects from acquisition and due diligence through completion.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, financial modeling, and project reporting.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
• Manage zoning, DOB approvals, permitting, and construction progress.
• Support acquisition underwriting, feasibility analysis, and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on project launches and pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of NYC real estate development experience.
• Experience with multifamily, condominium, or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong knowledge of NYC zoning, DOB approvals, construction management, and development finance.
• Advanced Excel financial modeling skills with excellent communication and project management abilities.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Argus, or Yardi is preferred.
