In-Fill Housing, Inc. seeks a dynamic, motivated individual to join its development construction team. Since 2001, we have successfully completed 27 innovative, award-winning affordable housing developments throughout Georgia. In-Fill has demonstrated excellence in the development of new multi-family housing and the rehabilitation of existing family and senior apartment developments. Our development team is devoted to building well-designed, sustainable housing that creates a quality environment for residents and enhances the surrounding community.
This position is responsible for planning, evaluating and directing new initiatives to maximize real estate/construction opportunities under the general supervision of the Director. Requires a creative and entrepreneurial approach toward non-traditional housing programs, construction and related ventures. Initiatives include property acquisition, development and/or management, construction and homeownership programs. Reports to the Chief Administrative Officer/Development Director.
A four-year degree in public or business administration with emphasis in planning, economic/community development, finance, residential construction, urban planning or related field, with five or more years of related experience in real estate development, affordable housing development or community development. Strong, demonstrable knowledge of housing policies, regulations, and funding mechanisms (including LIHTC, bonds, HOME, CDBG, etc.). Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
