Job summary
I Have A Dream Foundation of Boulder County seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead fundraising strategy and strengthen donor relations. You will cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts, manage a donor portfolio, and collaborate with the CEO and Board to meet annual and long-term fundraising goals.
Responsibilities include developing donor engagement plans, fundraising events, and staff leadership to drive revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in fundraising or sales with major gift cultivation and solicitation experience.
- Proven ability to build donor relationships and manage the full solicitation cycle.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM databases (Salesforce preferred).
Responsibilities
- Major Gifts & Donor Relations: manage a portfolio of donors, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts.
- Development Strategy & Operations: support fundraising strategies, track metrics, and donor engagement.
- Events & Community Engagement: assist donor events and engagement activities.
- Team Leadership & Development Operations: supervise development personnel and align with leadership.
